Classic Vintage storms clear.
Amanda Perrett's Classic Vintage (11-1) always looked the most likely winner of the Racing UK Handicap and knuckled down well for Jim Crowley in the closing stages.
The three-year-old travelled beautifully throughout in the hands of the former jump jockey and when asked a question went clear to win decisively.
Hughie Morrison's lightly-raced State Banquet ran well to claim second with Becausewecan third but Sir Mark Prescott's Braveheart Move, sent off the 3-1 favourite, was a major disappointment.
Perrett said: "He's just had a few issues in getting away from the stalls because he's a big horse and takes a while to get into stride.
"It's nice to see him win such a valuable prize and hopefully his next run is in the Melrose Stakes at York, as I took him out of the Ebor because he was a long way down in the weights."
