Paul Nolan's Joncol continued his progression with a smooth success in the Woodlands Park 100 Nas Na Riogh Novice Chase at Naas.
The six-year-old had only one other start over fences under his belt but he belied his lack of experience and pulled well clear under Paddy Flood.
Sent off 3-1 second-favourite, he put 10 lengths between the runner-up Good Fella after the last.
Sky Bet cut him to 20-1 from 33s for the RSA Chase at Cheltenham. Victor Chandler went 20-1 from 40-1 for the same race.
Nolan said: "He's had a few little setbacks that have held him up this season. "He's a big baby, he's 17 hands high and I think Cheltenham might come a bit too soon for him.
"He's only six and is one for the future. I would not be in favour of taking him over there this year."
