Big Zeb is clear at Leopardstown.
Big Zeb just held off Watson Lake to take the Grade One Paddy Power Dial-a-bet Chase at Leopardstown.
Matt O'Connor was ultra-confident on Colm Murphy's 5-1 chance, affording himself a look around on the home turn as he travelled easily upsides Thyne Again.
Big Zeb cruised up to the last but, on his first outing since April, began to tire on the run to the line and eventually had only half a length to spare over his rival.
Paddy Power cut the winner to 16/1 from 20s for the Seasons Holidays Queen Mother Champion Chase while Sky Bet introduced him into their betting at the same price.
Murphy said: "We have had a clear run with him and he is a different horse to last year.
"We were stop-start with him last season and he had niggly problems, but he has grown up physically.
"I was worried with it being his first run (of the season) but he was as ready as we could get him, although I would like to think he can improve.
"His jumping got him there and he was awesome over his fences - which is what it is all about.
"He's likely to have one more run and then go to Cheltenham, where he will be entered in the Queen Mother and the Ryanair."
