On Our Way stayed on strongly in the hands of Tom Queally to take top honours in the Peter Stone Memorial Houghton Conditions Stakes at Newmarket.
Henry Cecil's juvenile was sent off the 11-8 market leader, having finished third in the Royal Lodge Stakes last time, and was placed handily throughout the mile contest.
The Oasis Dream colt struck the front over a furlong out and picked up well on the rising ground to score by two and a quarter lengths from Ra Junior.
Owner Darren May said: "We are over the moon with that and we'll now look forward to next year.
"Anything he did this year was always going to be a bonus as he was always going to make a three-year-old rather than a two-year-old.
"He could be anything, and I hope he goes for one of the top races - but it's up to Mr Cecil and his team to decide."
