Luke Morris: Rides True To Form
True To Form is chasing successive victories in the £37,000 Listed Coral App Download From The App Store Quebec Stakes over 10 furlongs at Lingfield Park on Saturday.
The five-year-old stayed on strongly to score by a neck last year when in the care of Martyn Meade and was subsequently purchased by Alan McCabe for 29,000 guineas at Tattersalls in May.
He has failed to win in five starts since joining the Nottinghamshire trainer, but returned to form last time with a fast-finishing fourth in a class two, course and distance handicap on November 27.
McCabe revealed: "True To Form is in good form and won the race last year. He was unlucky last time and the horse that just pipped him for third (Marshgate Lane) has won two races since, so the form looks good.
"He likes the Polytrack and we are hopeful of a good run, but we will have to see how he gets on tomorrow before we think about Finals Day."
Luke Morris, who has won three times on True To Form, takes the ride.
True To Form will clash with 10 rivals, headed by Uramazin and Tales Of Grimm, who were third and fourth respectively in the Listed coral.co.uk Churchill Stakes over the same course and distance on November 16, and the John Gosden-trained pair of Dick Doughtywylie and Gatewood.
Other notables include South American Group One scorer Energia Davos, Listed runner-up Galician and course and distance winner Tinshu.
