Mac's Power (yellow cap): Listed task on Saturday

Ayr Gold Cup favourite Mac's Power leads nine declared for Saturday's Hopeful Stakes at Newmarket.

James Fanshawe's five-year-old was last seen finishing third behind Hoof It in the Stewards' Cup at Goodwood and is currently as low as 10/1 for next month's sprint at Ayr.

He is set to be joined in Saturday's Listed contest by Stewards' Sprint winner Son Of The Cat, along with Charlie Hills' Prime Defender and Chris Wall's Royal Rock.

Three-year-old's Cochabamba and Swiss Dream are set to represent the fillies, whilst Ed Vaughan's Cinderkamp is another from the classic generation.

The field is completed by Dandy Nicholls' Capone and Richard Hannon's Monsieur Chevalier.
