Jassim Al Ghazali is to ready his stable star Dubday for a crack at the Fred Archer Stakes at Newmarket later this month.
The Qatar champion trainer is to keep the five-year old at Listed level for a tilt at the mile-and-a-half contest on June 27 having finished a creditable second behind Telescope in the Aston Park Stakes at Newbury on his first start in Britain.
Al Ghazali, who is currently based at Saffron House Stables, in Newmarket, said: "Dubday is to go to Newmarket now on June 27 for the Fred Archer Stakes, as all the races for him at Royal Ascot closed early.
"For me, his run at Newbury was a very good performance as he had only just come over from Qatar to England, so he was just getting used to the change in weather and Telescope is a different quality horse.
"He has recovered from that race well. He likes the climate over here and he will improve on that so I am hoping to see him run even better next time."
