A review of the rest of Saturday's Haydock action, where Paul Hanagan dominated the card with four winners in total.
Miss Marjurie swooped fast and late to take top honours in the 888sport Pinnacle Stakes at Haydock.
Sent off at 7/1 following a Listed-race triumph at Goodwood at the start of the month, Denis Coakley's mare was waited with by Paul Hanagan and remained nearer last than first rounding the home bend.
Wonderstruck looked set to provide in-form trainer William Haggas with yet another winner when striding on inside the final furlong, but Miss Marjurie flew down the outside under the former champion jockey and got up in the shadows of the post to score by a short head.
Hanagan said: "She's really genuine, she doesn't want to be in front too soon, so I had to wait, not throw the kitchen sink at her - just cajole her and she came good.
"She caught me a bit by surprise as she didn't really travel at all, I just let her find her feet and she really came good when I turned in. She's got a great attitude."
Miss Marjurie looks set to return to Haydock for a tilt at the Lancashire Oaks on July 4.
Coakley said: "She's won around Epsom and Goodwood, but I thought the long straight here would suit her.
"She was disappointing at three slightly. Things didn't go her way and she got a few bumps around. She's a nice filly and hopefully we can keep going with her now.
"She's won her Group Three, so we might go for the Lancashire Oaks."
Hanagan had earlier opened his Saturday account as Jumeirah Glory clung on to victory in a pulsating climax to the Download New Racing UK iPad App Handicap at Haydock.
The Richard Fahey-trained gelding had failed to get competitive in his first two starts as a three-year-old at Newmarket and Chester and was a 5/1 shot for the opener on Merseyside.
Never too far off the speed, Jumeirah Glory was sent on inside the final two furlongs, a move which looked set to deal him a comfortable success.
However, William Buick conjured a late rattle from Serene Beauty and as they flashed by the post as one, it looked as though the Godolphin runner may have got up.
The camera told a different story, though, with Jumeirah Glory called the winner by a short head.
"The runner-up came at me quick, but my horse didn't stop and galloped all the way to the line, so I'd have been gutted if he'd got beat," said the jockey.
"I think Richard has always thought a bit of him. He has been a bit disappointing, but he felt very straightforward to me. I spoke to Richard this morning, he told me to be positive and it worked out. He has a really good attitude and given he's still very green, there's so much more to come."
"I thought the ground was just on the slow side of good. It's windy out there and it's dried up a lot since last night."
As well as winning the feature Sandy Lane Stakes on the William Haggas-trained Adaay and the Timeform Jury Stakes on Charlie Hills' Cable Bay, Hanagan was on target for Fahey again as Don't Touch justified 15/8 favouritism as the gelding edged out Red Tycoon in the Racing UK Anywhere Available Now Handicap.
Hopes of a Hanagan five-timer with the Fahey-trained Mfiftythreedotcom in the last were dashed as the Walsh IBS Handicap went to 16/1 chance Gambino, trained by John David Riches and ridden by Connor Beasley.
