Andrew Balding is looking forward to seeing leading Derby hope Elm Park stretch his legs on the famous Epsom turf at the Breakfast With The Stars morning on Tuesday.
Last season's Racing Post Trophy hero is one of six horses heading for the Downs and will be joined by Derby favourite Golden Horn and his stable companion Jack Hobbs, the John Gosden-trained pair that finished ahead of Elm Park in the Dante at York earlier this month.
Balding is keen to give his stable star some experience of the notoriously tricky circuit before his Classic bid on June 6.
He said: "I'm very happy with him. He came out of York well and all the weight he lost he's put back on.
"It was always the intention to bring him to Epsom. I think the track should be fine, but it won't do any harm to give him a sighter."
William Buick steered Golden Horn to his Dante success, but will partner Jack Hobbs in his Epsom spin after he was snapped up by Godolphin following his highly encouraging effort at York.
Frankie Dettori, rider of Jack Hobbs on the Knavesmire, switches to Golden Horn in readiness for the ride next month.
Buick is not expecting either horse to exert themselves too much.
"They're two very good horses, Golden Horn was impressive but I'm sure Jack Hobbs will come on for the (Dante) run," the jockey told At The Races. "They're two high-class horses.
"I don't really know what they're going to do, but I presume it will be to get the experience of the place, going downhill to Tattenham Corner.
"I don't think there'll be any buttons pressed."
Also bound for Epsom are Gosden's Oaks duo Star Of Seville and Jazzi Top and Andre Fabre's French filly Al Naamah.
