John Gosden's unbeaten Coolmore-owned colt Christophermarlowe is among 14 entries for Saturday's Betfred.com Derby Trial Stakes at Lingfield.
Two from two last season, he reappeared this year with a win in the Derby Trial at Epsom and barring very soft ground is an intended runner.
"Christophermarlowe goes to Lingfield on Saturday for the Derby Trial," said Gosden, whose charge is a best-priced 16-1 for the premier Classic.
"We've put him in the (Chester) Vase as well, but he'd only run there if it was a monsoon at Lingfield."
Aidan O'Brien has five to choose from in Hans Holbein, Kilimanjaro, King Of Aragon, Order Of St George and Sandro Botticelli.
Ralph Beckett has two possibles, Great Glen and Magic Dancer.
Charlie Hills' Dancetrack, Luca Cumani's Bartholomew Fair, Saeed bin Suroor's Future Empire, Richard Hannon's Proposed, Harry Dunlop's Red Tornado and the William Haggas-trained Storm The Stars complete the field.
