James Fanshawe emphasised Ribbons remains on course to make her seasonal bow in the Middleton Stakes at York.
The five-year old shot to prominence last season after landing a surprise victory in the Group One Prix Jean Romanet at Deauville on her first outing at that level.
Showing that win was no fluke, the Elite Racing Club-owned mare, who has yet to finish out of the frame in nine career starts, was then a close-up second in the Prix de l'Opera on her final start of the campaign at Longchamp in October.
The Newmarket handler said: "Ribbons seems in good form and is coming along nicely and we are aiming for the Middleton with her.
"Touch-wood, we are pleased with where we are now.
"We're just hoping for a bit of rain up there as she likes cut in the ground."
