Brendan Powell is eyeing a trip to Royal Ascot for stable star Dark Emerald following his fantastic winter campaign in Dubai.
The five-year-old won twice and filled the runner-up spot in the desert during January and February, but the Godolphin Mile on World Cup night at the end of March proved a bridge too far.
Dark Emerald has been given a short holiday since returning to British shores, but is set for an imminent return to training and Powell is looking forward to finding out what the summer has in store.
He said: "He's been having a break and the plan is for him to come back in at the end of this week.
"We might stick him in something like the Royal Hunt Cup at Ascot. I know he'd have plenty of weight, but we'll see what we can do.
"He had a great time out in Dubai and his main target would be to go back there next year.
"Hopefully we'll have a bit of fun with him in the meantime."
