French handler Pia Brandt is looking forward to bringing Fresles over to Britain for the £150,000 32Red.com Fillies' And Mares' Championships at Lingfield Park on All-Weather Championships Finals Day, Good Friday, April 3.

The four-year-old guaranteed her place in the seven-furlong contest with a hard-fought victory in the Listed Prix Satamixa (Fast-Track Qualifier) at Deauville on December 28.

Fresles has already proved herself around Lingfield Park, having finished a close second to Intransigent in the Listed Unibet Golden Rose Stakes over six furlongs in November.

The Royal Applause filly was not disgraced when beaten a length and a half into fourth in her prep race over six and half furlongs at Chantilly on March 3.

Brandt said today: "Everything is going well with Fresles at the moment.

"She needed the race at Chantilly and I am expecting her to improve for it. It was quite a strong race with some good horses and we were not too hard on her.

"She has been doing well since and fingers crossed she can repeat the performances she put in at Deauville and at Lingfield. If she does, then she should have a good chance."
