Cogry will run at the Cheltenham Festival in either the Toby Balding National Hunt Chase or the RSA Chase.

A faller on his chasing debut at Uttoxeter, he was then a winner at Chepstow over Christmas before finishing second at Grade Two level at Haydock.

Nigel Twiston-Davies' six-year-old, who finished eighth in the Albert Bartlett at the Festival last year, is firstly likely to take in a prep race at either Warwick or Newbury.

Owner Graham Jelley said: "He'll go to Cheltenham for either the four-miler or the RSA.
