A round-up of the rest of Saturday action at Doncaster as Seaviper returned to winning ways in some style.

Bogged down in the ground at Fakenham last time out, Seaviper relished the return to a better surface under 7lb claimer Daniel Hiskett to take the Sky Bet Tracker Handicap Hurdle.

The consistent six-year-old came through to lead at the second last and pulled two and a quarter lengths clear of Prouts Pub with Istimraar third.

Winning trainer Richard Phillips said: "I thought Daniel gave him a great ride. For a 7lb claimer he's very good, but I don't want many people to know.

"He's only been out of the first four once and that was when he got brought down in a bumper.

"We thought he'd like the better ground today, that's why we came, and he obviously did."

Philip Hobbs' Royal Regatta put a below-par effort at Newbury behind him when holding off Runswick Royal in the TRM-Excellence In Equine Nutrition Handicap Chase.

A winner from a decent type on his chasing debut, he was beaten as an even-money favourite last time out but travelled like a class act back on some decent ground. Richard Johnson looked over his shoulder at the second last and appeared to have everything cooked, but Runswick Royal began to stay on powerfully and it was getting tight in the last 100 yards.

The 11/4 chance held off the 5/2 favourite by half a length. Hobbs' wife, Sarah, said: "He's a nice horse who is going the right way.

"What he needs is a strong two miles, he doesn't get two and a half yet but he will do in time. "He's still big and gangly and is still filling out."
