Leicester's jumps fixture on Sunday is subject to an 8.15am course inspection on raceday morning.
Frost and snow are potential issues, but clerk of the course Jimmy Stevenson is cautiously optimistic about the chances of the meeting defeating the elements.
He said on Saturday morning: "Hopefully we'll be OK. As long as temperatures get up to what they say, the overnight frost doesn't look too bad.
"There's a slight scattering of snow mixed in with the grass on the track, so we are waiting for that disappear as it's only going to get up to one degree on Sunday."
