Reve De Sivola could next run in the Cleeve Hurdle at Cheltenham

Plans for Reve De Sivola will depend on there being plenty of cut in the ground after the classy performer won the JLT Long Walk Hurdle for the third year running at Ascot on Saturday.

The Cleeve Hurdle at Cheltenham in January, which he won in 2013, is the logical next target for the Nick Williams-trained nine-year-old, if conditions are suitable.

His participation in the stayers' championship races at Cheltenham and Punchestown would also be governed by the going.

"He's fine and will probably go for the Cleeve if he's OK, but like all these things, we'll keep it under review," said owner Paul Duffy.

"If it comes to the main race at Cheltenham (the Ladbrokes World Hurdle), he runs an honest race but the going goes against him. We'll enter him up, but if the going is the same as it was last year for example we'll have to take a rain check on that.

"He's ground dependant. We'll just have to see what the ground is like wherever we want to go. It tends to be softer over in Punchestown (for the Ladbrokes World Series Hurdle) so we will see, but at his age it's one race at a time.
