Ace French pilot Christophe Lemaire has fractured his leg following a fall during a race in Kyoto, Japan.

Lemaire is reported to be in good spirits by his agent Helen Barbe, although she said it was too early to be sure for how long he will be sidelined.

"He has a hairline fracture at the top of his right tibia," she said.

"We don't know how long he will be out yet. We will know more in the next few days about his injury and when he will be coming back to France.
