Godolphin colt will be supplemented after Goodwood success

Recent Godolphin purchase Rewilding booked his ticket to Epsom with an effortless victory in the Cocked Hat Stakes at Goodwood on Wednesday. Formerly in the care of Andre Fabre, the half-brother to Dar Re Mi settled matters in the Listed race in a matter of strides, lengthening over a furlong out to win by four lengths. The evens favourite will now be supplemented for the Derby at a cost of £75,000 to his new connections. Godolphin racing manager, Simon Crisford, said: "There was plenty up his sleeve and he will now be supplemented for Epsom and will go for the Derby. "He was top-rated coming into this and we expected him to win. "The key was to see how he handled the undulations and he has done that well. "We will also confirm Chabal, Ameer and Al Zir for the Derby tomorrow and sort out running plans nearer the time." Meanwhile, Snow Fairy claimed the scalps of three Investec Oaks entries as she fluttered her way to a three-length victory in the Blue Square Height Of Fashion Stakes. Her close-up third in the Prestige at the track last summer gave her a squeak in the mile-and-a-quarter contest and the 12-1 chance overcame a stumbling start to thunder clear. Pipette, one of the Oaks entries, never had a chance with the winner and settled for second, while gambled-on 15-8 favourite Wedding March proved a bitter disappointment on her Godolphin debut and finished an eased-down last.
