German 1000 Guineas winner Full Rose is unlikely to be seen racing in Britain in the near future.

The Andreas Wohler-trained filly made it two wins from as many starts on Sunday when coming with a sustained late run to capture the Group Two prize at Dusseldorf by a neck.

Despite enhancing her credentials, Bruce Raymond, racing manager to owner Jaber Abdullah, stressed the daughter of Aqlaam, who cost just 6,000 euros at the sales, is likely to be kept in Germany for the time being,

Raymond said: "It was a great performance from Full Rose on Sunday. It showed she handled soft ground, which was a bit of a surprise.

"There was a bit of confidence in the stable as they thought they were going there with a chance.

"She was drawn very badly which makes a lot of difference, but she came round the outside and although she only won by a neck it was comfortable and she won with a little bit in hand.

"There is no plan to bring her over here yet as she would need to improve first and there are plenty of races over there for her."

Raymond also acts as manager for Abdulla Al Mansoori, owner of the Simon Crisford-trained First Selection.

After winning a maiden at Southwell on his debut the two-year-old followed it up with a taking success in a five-furlong conditions event at Beverley and is bound for Royal Ascot.

Raymond said: "Royal Ascot is the plan for First Selection, although I don't know which race he will go for yet.

"Although he needed pushing along a bit he was always going to get there. I was happy with the way come from further back and I enjoyed how he finished.

"I don't think five furlongs is his trip, he will be better over six and in time seven furlongs will be his optimum trip."
