Bray Wyatt will lock horns with a legend at Battleground after being placed in a match against Chris Jericho.

The Eater of Worlds instigated an attack on Y2J when he returned to WWE on the June 30 episode of Raw and will now get the chance to battle him in a sanctioned match in Florida on July 20.

Wyatt has proven to be a classy campaigner between the ropes since debuting last summer, chalking up victories over Kane (SummerSlam), Daniel Bryan (Royal Rumble) and John Cena (Extreme Rules).

The sermon-spewing Superstar should also have Wyatt Family allies, Luke Harper and Erick Rowan, patrolling at ringside as he aims to down nine-time Intercontinental Champion Jericho.

But The Ayatollah of Rock ‘n’ Rolla has looked electric during his comeback, making light work of The Miz and warning Wyatt and his followers that he can be “a little dangerous” when required.

Jericho, who is also a former six-time world champion and WrestleMania eventer, has the experience factor over Wyatt but will that count for anything when the two tussle in Tampa?

WWE Battleground will be shown at 1am on Sunday, July 20 (Monday morning) on Sky Sports Box Office and Sky Sports HD Box Office, with repeats available until the following Saturday.
