Roman Reigns overcomes Kane and Randy Orton on Smackdown

Roman Reigns provided an explosive finish to Friday night’s SmackDown main event as he speared both Kane and Randy Orton ahead of Money in the Bank.

Orton had interrupted the preview of this Sunday’s WWE World Heavyweight Championship Ladder Match just as the black-vested Superstar was on the verge of defeating Demon Kane following a Superman Punch to the jaw of his opponent.

The masked Demon and the first WWE World Heavyweight Champion appeared to be on the same page after a hellacious Chokeslam from The Devil’s Favourite Demon had snared Reigns. But the Superstar rose to have the final word.

The one-on-one showdown between Sheamus and Bray Wyatt descended into a six-Superstar battle with The Usos evening up the number after Harper and Rowan had joined the fight. Ultimately The Usos dealt with Harper and Rowan before Bray ran to avoid a Brogue Kick from Sheamus.

Russian celebrations

Also on Smackdown Alberto Del Rio and Cesaro overcame Rob Van Dam and Dolph Ziggler in a showdown pitting WWE World Heavyweight Championship Ladder Match members against Money in the Bank Contract Ladder Match while Divas Champion Paige conquered Cameron.

Sin Cara was unable to halt Super-Athlete and Hero of the Russian Federation, Rusev, and was forced to tap out. But Big E interrupted the celebrations and knocked the Russian from the ring, setting up a tantalising match-up at Money in the Bank on Sunday.
