Bray Wyatt will fight one powerful former WWE Champion at Extreme Rules - but first he battled another on Main Event.

The Eater of Worlds met Sheamus on Tuesday night and picked up a victory, hitting the Irishman with Sister Abigail after he had been distracted by Wyatt's followers, Luke Harper and Erick Rowan.

Sheamus was spared further damage after the bout, though, when WWE Tag Team Champions The Usos - who retained their straps on Raw courtesy of a triumph over RybAxel - rushed to his aid.

But Wyatt can still bask in his victory over one of WWE's top performers and now plot how he will overcome John Cena in Sunday, when he and the West Newbury native are locked inside a steel cage.

Bad News Barrett's plan this weekend is to prise the Intercontinental Championship from Big E and he warmed up for that tussle by beating Kofi Kingston in a match with a memorable finish.

The Brit attempted to fling The Wildcat into the ring steps but Kingston showed his litheness, as he has done in multiple Royal Rumble bouts in the past, by leaping over the metal obstacle.

However, as the Ghanaian tried to launch an aerial assault on Barrett, he was clobbered by the Preston-born grappler's Bull Hammer, hurled back into the squared circle and pinned.

Plus, Divas Champion Paige vanquished Alicia Fox, before locking eyes with Extreme Rules rival Tamina, and Goldust did what his brother Cody Rhodes could not do on Raw: defeated Alberto Del Rio.
