Special guest host sees WWE champion attacked by Batista

Special guest host David Otunga teamed himself with WWE champion John Cena in a title match against Unified Tag Team Champions Big Show & The Miz in the latest episode of RAW. But there was to be a twist in the tale as the NXT Rookie turned his back on the WWE champion, a betrayal which ultimately allowed Batista to enter the ring and attack Cena. Following a devastating Batista Bomb, The Animal informed Cena that he was invoking his rematch clause for the WWE Championship at the upcoming WWE Extreme Rules event in a Last Man Standing match! Will The Champ be able to repeat his WrestleMania success and be the Last Man Standing? Or will The Animal put Cena down for the count and reclaim the WWE title? Find out as WWE Extreme Rules comes your way on the night of Sunday April 25 at 1am LIVE and exclusively on Sky Sports 1 & HD1.

Momentum

For the second week in succession, "The All-American American" Jack Swagger tasted defeat against The Viper Randy Orton. In a non-title contest, the new world heavyweight champion failed to capitalise on his momentum from Friday Night SmackDown, as Orton struck with a deadly RKO to slither his way to victory. Also on RAW, Ted DiBiase faced Christian in a rematch from last week, this time without his father or any WWE Legends at ringside. After berating his WWE Hall of Fame father, DiBiase went on to overcome the challenge of Captain Charisma courtesy of the Dream Street manoeuvre. Sheamus continued to taunt the man he lost out to at WrestleMania, Triple H. Last week, The Irishman stunned the WWE Universe when he clubbed The Game during his farewell address to friend Shawn Michaels. After defeating Kofi Kingston, The Celtic Warrior then smashed his opponent with a steel pipe and demanded Triple H to come to the ring. The Game duly obliged, but as Sheamus threatened to end his career, The Cerebral Assassin pulled out a sledgehammer from under the ring and nailed The Celtic Warrior, which sent him scrambling from the ring. The sexy, smart and powerful divas of the WWE competed in a "Dress to Impress" Battle Royal. The match pitted Kelly Kelly, Alicia Fox, Gail Kim, Rosa Mendes, Jillian Hall, Katie Lea Burchill, The Bella Twins and Eve Torres against one other with the winner earning a Divas Championship Match against Maryse next week. In the end, it was the gorgeous Eve who emerged victorious and will face Maryse next week in London, England for the title.
