Dundee Stars extended their lead at the top of ice hockey's Elite League to four points with a 3-2 win over Hull Stingrays on Sunday night.
The opening period was goalless but markers from Brock McPherson on the powerplay at 23.14, Marcis Zembergs at 25.39 and Nico Sacchetti at 38.01 had the Stars well on top going into the final stanza.
Jereme Tendler grabbed one back shorthanded at 42.44 and less than five minutes later Matt Davies reduced the gap to one but the Stars held on.
The Stars are now four points clear of Belfast and Nottingham at the top of the table but both those teams have games in hand.
In Sunday's other game, Cardiff claimed a 3-1 road win over Edinburgh.
Jade Portwood fired the Capitals ahead at 17.18 but a double from Ben Davies sandwiched a goal from Mac Faulkner to hand the Devils victory.
