Shea Guthrie: Scored in losing cause for Coventry
Coventry Blaze saw their Sheffield Steelers hoodoo continue following a 3-2 defeat at Sheffield Arena in the Rapid Solicitors Elite League.
Chad Huttel put Steelers ahead after just 103 seconds but Shea Guthrie levelled with his 23rd goal of the season.
Guthrie then put Blaze in front but Steelers, who had Colt King thrown out, made it 2-2 towards the end of the second period with a powerplay marker from Neil Clark.
A tight third period was decided six minutes from time when Mike Ramsay won it for Steelers.
Blaze have now gone 14 games without a win over Steelers, who they meet for the last time in the league this season at the Skydome on Sunday night.
Sheffield trail league leaders Belfast Giants by nine points after Craig Peacock's shoot-out goal earned the Northern Irish outfit a 4-3 win over second-placed Nottingham Panthers.

David-Alexandre Beauregard's power-play goal in the third period saw the game finish 3-3 and with no further goals in overtime, the game was settled by penalties.
Peacock scored with Belfast's first effort and it proved to be the end of the scoring.
Two late quickfire goals earned Hull Stingrays a huge 4-3 victory at Dundee Stars.
Stingrays, again without leading goalscorer Jereme Tendler, fell behind in the seventh minute through Euan Forsyth but Dominic Osman levelled before the end of the first period.
Dan McGoff restored Stars' lead only for Derek Campbell to equalise just 45 seconds later.
AJ MacLean (powerplay) put Stars in front for the third time but markers inside 49 seconds from Osman and Jason Silverthorn (short-handed) handed Stingrays only a second win on the road in 12 attempts.
Elsewhere, Phil Hill book-ended the scoring and Stuart MacRae also scored twice as Cardiff Devils eased past Edinburgh Capitals 5-2 in Wales.
Jade Galbraith scored twice as Braehead Clan hammered fellow Scots Fife Flyers 7-2.
