Belfast moved seven points clear at the top of the Elite League after a 4-2 win at Sheffield Steelers on Sunday night.

The Steelers are one of the Giants' top-spot rivals, and the Province side gave their hopes of hitting the front this season a real blow with an impressive win in south Yorkshire.

Elsewhere on Sunday, Dundee climbed off the bottom with a 6-2 win over Fife - who replace them at the bottom of the ladder - and the Braehead Clan won 5-4 at Cardiff after a shoot-out.
