Finn Balor and Hideo Itami will clash with The Ascension at Takeover: R Evolution – but the teams aren’t waiting until then to lock horns.

Balor and Itami became embroiled in an epic brawl with former NXT Tag Team Champions Konnor and Viktor on Thursday after the Irish grappler had battled Tyson Kidd in a singles encounter.

Balor seemed on the verge of downing Kidd when he set the Canadian up for his eye-catching double stomp but before he could land the move, The Ascension stormed to the ring.

Itami, who, like Balor, has been targeted by Konnor and Viktor even since he swapped Japan for Orlando, rushed from the locker room to help his friend tackle their foes.

But the action was so fast and furious that a mixture of NXT Superstars and WWE officials were unable to break up the fracas before the show rolled off their air.

Marcus Louis was not around to intervene in the scuffle, though, having already stormed out of Full Sail University following his loss to Prince Pretty, Tyler Breeze.

Louis had his wig ripped off by Breeze, exposing his bald head to the fans in Florida, and as his ire grew, the Frenchman was caught by the blonde’s Beauty Shot and pinned.

The Gallic wrestler was incensed by his losse and stormed into the Orlando night – but he wasn’t the only performer frustrated on a thrill-a-minute evening in NXT.

Jason Jordan and Tye Dillinger were downed by Tag Team Champions Sin Cara and Kalisto, while “Blue Pants” tapped out to Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady’s pal Carmella.

Plus, Bayley’s decision to call out her recent tormentors Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch backfired when they attacked her knee and would not relent until NXT medical personnel appeared.
