The potential final race of the America's Cup in San Francisco was postponed on Saturday due to unfavorable wind.

The postponement denied Emirates Team New Zealand the chance to claim yachting's top prize before Sunday.

The Kiwis need just one more victory to take the Cup from defending champions Oracle Team USA.

They lead the best-of-17 contest 8-3.

The two races scheduled for Saturday were ruled out because the wind came from a direction that would have made for troublesome sailing, given the way the course is set up in San Francisco Bay, according to race officials.
