Popping his football cherry

Saturday, 9am, Sky Sports 1

Star of the hilarious 40-year-old Virgin, Anchorman and his latest movie Knocked Up, Seth Rogen popped into the Soccer AM studio to chat about the Beckhams and his new football team. "Indeed I have heard of David Beckham, he has littered the tabloids of Los Angeles with him and his odd-looking wife," said Seth. "She is lovely, she kind of looks like a bug. A very attractive bug with a spectacular body." Beckham has made no secret that he hopes 'soccer' will be competing with the big three of baseball, basketball and American football as the most popular sports in America, however Canadian Seth reveals that there is one thing that will stop that from happening: Talent! "I will probably not happen because Americans like to see themselves good at a sport and they are not very good at soccer," explained Seth. "I cannot see it sweeping the nation unless they all develop a freakish ability that only people In Europe seem to have." Andy delves into Seth's sporting background and reveals that he used to be an egg-chaser (that is rugby for our American and Canadian viewers). "I was, I was just told what that was and I thought it was something totally different. "I was a prop so you just had to be big and stupid which I am, so I was actually pretty good. "I have tried to get a game going in LA but people just look at you as if you are insane if you suggest rugby. Then trying to explain the rules to them is very difficult." As Seth is not affiliated with any football team, it is time for him to choose one from the 92 English league teams with Bournemouth being the team he will follow for the rest of his days. "I have heard they are awesome!"
