The Memphis Grizzlies moved to 12-2 for the season with an impressive 107-91 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday.

The Grizzlies outscored their opponents 53-40 in the first two quarters before adding 35 points in a high-scoring third to wrap up the win over their Western Conference rivals.

Marc Gasol led the way for Memphis with 30 points, 12 of which came in the opening quarter, and 12 rebounds, while Chris Paul was the Clippers' highest scorer with 22.

LaMarcus Aldridge's 20 points and 14 rebounds inspired Portland to a 94-88 triumph against the Boston Celtics, meaning the Trail Blazers have now won seven in a row.

Marreese Speights scored 28 points as the Golden State Warriors beat the Oklahoma City Thunder 91-86 to consign them to their sixth straight defeat in the absence of stars Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook.

The Charlotte Hornets missed three potential go-ahead shots in the closing stages to slip to a 94-93 defeat to the Miami Heat.

Kemba Walker failed to get a pair of attempts to drop for the Hornets before team-mate Al Jefferson went closest - hitting the rim - as New Orleans slipped to a fifth straight defeat.

Luol Deng scored 26 points for the Heat, while team-mates Chris Bosh and Mario Chalmers had 20-point games, as they fought back from an eight-point deficit midway through the final quarter.
