Britain's Adam Peaty set a world record in the 50 metre breaststroke at the European Swimming Championships in Berlin.
Peaty finished his semi-final heat in 26.62 seconds, smashing the old record of 26.67 seconds set by Cameron van der Burgh of South Africa in 2009 when swimmers were still using high-tech, performance-enhancing full body suits.
Peaty won the 100 metre breaststroke gold medal on Tuesday and added another gold with Britain's mixed relay team.
