England secured a 51-33 victory over South Africa to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match FIAT International Netball Series.

The hosts took an early advantage and stretched it throughout the contest at Wembley Arena to ultimately emerge as comfortable winners.

England had won the first contest 49-38 and although the margin of victory was larger this time, Anna Mayes' side were still not quite at the top of their game.

The victory means that South Africa can only hope for a consolation victory in the concluding match of the series in Worcester on Friday.
