"Two wrongs don't make a right. But a win is a win. And sometimes you've just got to play the game."
Kofi Kingston Quotes of the week

"I'm definitely excited about Ghana being in the World Cup," Kingston told skysports.com.

"Hopefully we can make our mark. We did alright the last time. We'll try and take it to the top this time. I'll definitely be rooting for them."

Ghana have been drawn with Germany, Australia and Serbia in Group D. But the former Intercontinental Champion is confident in his countrymen's ability.

"It's not going to be easy for sure. I know they're all very good teams. We'll see how we'll stack up against them but I know Ghana are ready to bring it."

Kingston knows all about difficult opponents and at the Tables, Ladders & Chairs show on Sunday he faces one of the toughest Superstars in the WWE in Randy Orton.

Having feuded with Orton and Legacy for the past few weeks, just like Ghana, Kingston is certain he is ready.

Kingston said: "I've been training hard. It's going to be a battle. I think I have learned a lot these past weeks. I know that I don't just fight one member of Legacy, I'm always having to fight all three. This is going to be a brawl to say the least."

In the last couple of weeks both Orton and Kingston have earned victories against each other.

Orton beat Kingston after Legacy had attacked the former United States Champion before the match started. A week later, Kingston retaliated by earning a victory with the help of Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban.

Acting as guest host Cuban counted to three very quickly to give Kingston the win. Since being involved with Orton, Kofi has come to realise that he has had to stoop down to the Viper's level.

"Two wrongs don't make a right. But a win is a win. And sometimes you've just got to play the game. Randy Orton is a very dirty player and sometimes you have to fight fire with fire," Kingston said.

Also on the TLC card this Sunday is John Cena defending his WWE Title against newcomer Sheamus in a Tables match.

Sheamus has only been on Raw for less than two months but has already made a major impact by retiring Jamie Noble and smashing Mark Cuban through a table.

Despite being in the WWE for such a short time Kingston doesn't think it is too soon for Sheamus to be challenging for a major title.

"I don't think Sheamus would have stepped up to that role if he wasn't ready to carry the ball. If you pick a fight with John Cena you better bring it. I hope Sheamus knows what he is doing."

Kingston was the last Superstar Sheamus eliminated in a Battle Royale to earn his place as number contender to the WWE title. With a Championship match so early in his career, Kingston expects other Superstars to be envious of the Irishman's recent elevation.

"Some people might be jealous, I wouldn't be surprised. But me, I'm not jealous for sure. I'm sure that for Sheamus and I, our paths will cross in the near future."

WWE and BSkyB have recently agreed a new five-year contract extension and Kofi Kingston couldn't hide his delight.

"To have extended the contract with Sky Sports for another five years is a cool thing. Sky Sports is a very big deal and I'm glad to be a part of it."Click here to book
