Shooting star Peter Wilson claimed Britain's fourth gold medal of London 2012 in the men's double trap.
The 25-year-old farmer's son from Dorset led from start to finish at the Royal Artillery Barracks.
We take a look at Wilson's life and shooting career.
1986: Born September 15, Dorset.
1999: Attends Millfield School, Somerset. Year below England rugby captain Chris Robshaw.
2004: Takes up shooting after suffering a shoulder injury while snowboarding which prevents him playing squash and cricket
2006: Begins competing in double trap. Within six months wins English, UK and European Junior Championships.
2008: Sheikh Ahmad Mohammad Hasher Al Maktoum, a member of the ruling family of Dubai and 2004 Olympic double trap gold medallist, becomes his coach.
2010: Wins English Open Championship. Second in European Championship.
2011: Wins English Open Championship. Second in World Cup, Chile, earning GB an Olympic quota spot.
2012: Wins World Cup, Arizona, with world record score of 198/200. Becomes world number one.
August 2 - Wins Olympic gold medal at London 2012 in the men's double trap.
