Watching my first Olympics in 1984 and seeing Carl Lewis win four Olympic gold medals. That is what inspired me to decide that one day I would go to the Olympic Games. Then there are my Olympic memories - going to my first one in Atlanta and dropping the baton... Then my second one in Sydney at making the 100m final and winning Olympic silver, then there was my third one in Athens winning the Olympic gold as part of the 4 x 100m relay team.
I think that is always a difficult question to answer, but for me it is Daley Thompson. To have your own computer game - and we are talking about way back then! - kind of sums it up. It's kind of done a lot these days but I always feel that he was the fuirst and his achievements were incredible.
What events are you looking forward to the most at London 2012?
I am looking forward to the 100m final. I don't think it is going to be as clear cut as people think it is going to be. In Beijing I also got in the cycling and that is awesome. If anyone has the opportunity to go to the Velodrome then they really need to go! I'm also looking forward to seeing Jessica Ennis in action and hopefully she can win gold.
It depends on injuries - when you push your body so hard there is always the danger of Team GB. I think we will see some new sporting heroes coming out of London 2012. I think people will feel totally inspired by the atmosphere and the support and it will lift them to the top of their game.
I know golf is coming in in 2016 but I would like to see it as a Ryder Cup style of play - perhaps we could have teams that compromise of the professionals alongside the best amateurs from their particular country - I think that would be more exciting than individuals playing gold which is what we see all the time.
I would choose shooting. Just because I would not have to be as fit as I was when I was an athlete! I shared a room with one of the shooters in Athens as they were quitter than the Athletes and he was very relaxed and chilled out!
