Swimming star Cassie Patten represented Great Britain at the 2008 Beijing Olympics where she competed in the in the 800 m freestyle final and won a bronze medal in the 10 km open water swimming event.
My favorite memory is when I qualified for the final of the 800m. People would assume it was when I won a medal but it was when I looked up and saw a Q next to my name - I was ranked 24th going in and came 8th in the end. For me that was the pinnacle of my career and my Olympic memories.
I would say Michael Phelps. Not only has he competed in three Olympics - this would be his fourth - but he has also won countless medals. He does not just do it in one event either; he does it in a wide range of events which is unbelievable. He is a machine.
I just love the Olympics and am really looking forward to all the swimming. The Open water and 800m are my events so I will definitely be watching those. I'll also be watching Usain Bolt who is just an incredible athlete and a performer. He is very special.
I think they will do really well. Beijing was a confidence booster and we will grow from there. At the Olympics you always pull out all the stops. As long as our athletes keep their heads together and don't get overwhelmed by the whole situation, then I think we will do great!
Squash, I would really like to see that included. It is such a hard and relentless sport and I think it would be great to watch in the glass courts too.
I would like to be a rower. I think I am built for rowing!
