Usain Bolt: Will compete in the 100m and the sprint relay in London.
World's fastest man Usain Bolt has confirmed that he will compete in the London Anniversary Games at the Olympic Stadium this summer.
The six-time Olympic gold medallist won three of those titles in London last summer and will return to the scene of his triumph to compete in the 100m and the 4x100m.
The IAAF Diamond League meeting will take place between 26-28 July and will feature 12 Olympic champions, including Britain's Jessica Ennis and dual gold medal winner Mo Farah.
The elite athletes will use the event as part of their build-up towards the world championships in Moscow in August and, other than the Olympics, it will be Bolt's first appearance in London since 2009.
"I'm looking forward to coming back to the UK, especially with it being a year since winning three gold medals in the Olympic Stadium," said the Jamaican.
"The crowd were amazing at the Games, and I hope they will be out again in their numbers at the end of July.
"I haven't competed at the London Diamond League since 2009 but it has always been a great meet with lots of Jamaican support. It almost feels like running at home."
Bolt was triumphant in the 100m and 200m at London 2012 before helping Jamaica to win the 4x100m relay in a new world record time.
