Britain's Olympic boxers are set to compete in two tournaments this week, giving them some indication of what to expect at London 2012.

Team GB's boxing performance director, Rob McCracken told Sky Sports News: "The tournaments are extremely tough, you'll have Russia and Cuba at both of those tournaments and you'll have some of the best countries in the world - very difficult, elite tournaments.

"That's where we take them year in, year out, to prepare them for the level of opposition that they will be facing, it gets them ready for who we are up against.

"We will log the other countries' boxers and then we will study them throughout the tournament and when we get back. It's great preparation for the boxers."

The Olympic boxing competition runs from July 28th at the ExCel Centre in London.
