Quarterback Tarvaris Jackson will stay with former Super Bowl champions Seattle Seahawks.

Jackson is entering his fourth season with the club and has spent the last two seasons as a back-up to Russell Wilson and played in one game last season (at Arizona, 12/21/14), completing his only pass for no gain.

He is expected to give Seattle depth after the team went through most of the off-season with just Wilson and second-year free agent R.J. Archer on the roster after B.J. Daniels was moved from quarterback to wide receiver.

He started 14 of 15 games played in 2011 for Seattle, posting career-highs in attempts (450), completions (271), yards (3,091) and touchdowns (14).

Jackson was added to the roster after defensive end Ryan Robinson was waived/injured (Achilles) on June 15.
