Take a trip down memory lane with as we select another one of our five favourite Super Bowls from years gone by.
This was meant to be Peyton Manning’s second Super Bowl win, New Orleans, with all the disasters the team had endured both on the field (historically a poor-performing franchise) and off of it (their home stadium, the Superdome became a place for Hurricane Katrina victims to seek refuge) were expected to just be happy to be there and make up the numbers.
Saints quarterback, Drew Brees, had other ideas though, scoring two touchdowns and winning the MVP award. An interception return for a touchdown off Manning sealed the win.
And the Cajun War Cry of ‘Who Dat Gonna Beat Dem Saints?’ was: Not the Indianapolis Colts.
