Captain Cee Bee is set to begin yet another campaign at Tipperary next month.

Trainer Eddie Harty reports the evergreen 13-year-old on course for the Friends Of Tipperary Hurdle on October 5, a race he has won for the last two seasons.

Captain Cee Bee is likely to renew rivalry with Rebel Fitz, who had to be content with second place in 2012 and has again been earmarked for the Grade Two over two miles.

"He's in great form. As long as we get a bit of rain hopefully he'll be going for the Friends Of Tipperary," said Harty.

"He's still enjoying himself, he looks marvellous, so it's fingers crossed."

Minella Foru, one of Harty's younger generation and also wearing the colours of the same owner JP McManus, is close to a return to action.

The five-year-old had a decent first season over jumps, winning a Grade Three at Navan and signing off with a creditable sixth place in the County Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival.

"He's doing great and is ready for a run if we get some rain in the next three weeks," said the Curragh handler.
