Mikey Ennis, who landed the 2013 Midlands Grand National as an amateur, is looking forward to his first visit to Scotland as a professional jockey as he heads for Hamilton Park on Thursday.
The East Lothian-born pilot has two mounts including Coincidently for Alan Bailey in the £10,000 Taggarts Jaguar Lanarkshire Scottish Trophy.
Ennis said: "I went as a kid to Hamilton when my dad was a starter and I've ridden there two or three times as an amateur. It's a great track to ride and I'm very excited about going back.
"How Coincidently runs depends on how she has come out of her win at Epsom on Monday. You don't know how much she took out of himself but I'd say she has to have a good shout."
Ennis's ride is one of eleven set to contest the feature race at the Lanarkshire venue's final evening card of the year.
The weights are headed by Keith Dalgleish's course winner Argaki while Kieren Fallon takes the mount on Ffos Las maiden scorer Scottish Strand for James Tate.
