Australia, Mukhadram and African Story are among 37 horses still in contention for the QIPCO Irish Champion Stakes following the second entry stage.

Dual Derby hero Australia is one of many entries for Aidan O'Brien, with the likes of Leading Light, Chicquita and King George contender Magician all in the reckoning for the Group One on September 13.

William Haggas' Coral-Eclipse winner Mukhadram is also bound for the King George this weekend, while Godolphin's African Story has not been seen since his Dubai World Cup victory in March.

John Gosden sent out The Fugue to win the race last year and he has added Western Hymn, who comfortably landed the Grand Prix de Maisons-Laffitte last Sunday.

Mick Channon has entered Amralah, a recent Listed winner at Newbury, while French master trainer Andre Fabre has also added Ocovango, fifth in last year's Investec Derby at Epsom.
