Leyton Orient have handed Italian striker Gianvito Plasmati a deal until the end of the season.

The 31-year-old has been without a club since leaving Siena and signs on at Brisbane Road on a free transfer. Plasmati, who counts Italian sides Catania and Foggia among his former employers, becomes the first signing since Kevin Nugent was handed the interim manager's position at the O's. He could make his debut at Doncaster in League One on Tuesday night, international clearance pending.
