Stuart Nelson: Suffers an injury setback
Gillingham manager Peter Taylor is lining up a replacement goalkeeper after losing Stuart Nelson to injury on Saturday.
Nelson had to be substituted when in pain at half-time in the 4-2 away loss and it does not look like he will be back in action any time soon.
Taylor told the club's official website: "Stuart definitely hasn't got a broken thumb but he's got some ligament damage we think. For where it is, that could be a three-month job. We'll just have to see how serious it is. Glenn Morris will play at Yeovil in the Capital One Cup, with Tom Hadler on the bench."
When asked about bringing in emergency cover, Taylor replied: "Yes I think so, we'll have to do that and I've got my eye on one or two at the minute. I'm just waiting to find out the length and if I find out he's out for long I can go to the other club and say can we have a loan for that time. Hopefully it's a very short period, but if it's longer we need to cover it."
Gillingham also lost striker Cody McDonald, who opened the scoring as the Gills went 2-0 up but twisted a knee when falling awkwardly in the second period and came off after 53 minutes at stadium:mk.
Taylor added: "Cody's still got a swollen knee and a swollen ankle, we can't do much with the ankle at the minute. It's not looking great but probably not as serious as we thought on Saturday after the game - I can still see him being out for a little while."
