Preston's assistant manager Glynn Snodin was delighted his side maintained their winning habit with a 2-1 victory at Morecambe.
Goals from Joe Garner and Keith Keane at the Globe Arena secured the Lilywhites a third victory in five pre-season outings, but Snodin admitted it was a below-par display. "It has been a tough week for them, training morning and afternoon and then playing in the evenings, as well as the weather," he told the club's official website. "We thought they were a little bit off it, but they kept going and ground out the result. "Results don't matter in pre-season, but winning is a good habit to have and if we can put in two good performances against Premier League teams then things will be looking good for the Notts County game."
