Damian Batt: Keen to help Dagenham
Dagenham's newest signing Damian Batt has expressed his joy at joining the club on a two-year deal.
The 29-year-old defender spent last season with Conference South champions Eastleigh after four years with Oxford and he is delighted to return to the Football League.
Batt told the club's website: "It's good to be back in full-time football, a new challenge with a great manager and a good team. I'm looking forward to getting started.
"I have some great memories from my time at Oxford, obviously gaining promotion. With football you'll always move on and I'm looking forward to starting a new challenge here and playing in front of the Daggers fans.
"I have a lot of experience of this league, I like to get forward, pass and play, which I know suits Wayne Burnett's style. So hopefully I'll fit in nicely with the style of play and the team.
"I'm sure I can help with my experience, I've played at the top of this league and I've played at the bottom. I know what it takes to do well in football, so hopefully with the mix of the youth and myself we can do well this season."
