Ahead of his GP3 Series debut at the Circuit de Catalunya, Sky Sports F1 Online catches up with former Formula Renault BARC Champion Dino Zamparelli.
The 20-year-old from Bristol was a finalist in the 2011 McLaren Autosport BRDC Award and Ginetta Junior Champion in 2008. He shot to internet fame last year when footage was posted of an amazing save during a wet Formula 2 race at Spa.
How are you feeling heading into the 2013 GP3 season?
Dino Zamparelli: "Pretty good. I am getting there and feeling more confident - it is a new car for me, as it is for all the drivers I guess, but a lot of them will have more experience at this level. So I am just building up the experience and the confidence and really looking forward to getting into the first race."

You will be partnered by Tio Ellinas at Marussia Manor Racing this season and had the opportunity to test alongside him. Have you been able to learn from him?
DZ: "He is one of the drivers who has a lot of experience from last year and he got really quick towards the end of the season. He understands the tyres and it is good to feed off someone like that."
What are you aiming for this season?
DZ: "To win - I am not going in to be runner-up or finish anywhere else. I am here to win and will be pushing really hard from the moment I step onto the grid."
Looking at the times we saw during winter testing, it is looking very tight at the top this year.
DZ: "It is - there are a lot of quick drivers with a lot of experience and all from different backgrounds - so it is going to be a lot of fun. One weekend a driver could be very quick and the next he could be off the pace, so it is just going to be about consistency and getting to know the tracks and gelling with the team - which has been going well for me. I am really looking forward to it."
GP3 have introduced a new car and engine for 2013. When you were looking around and debating which championship to race in this season, did that help push it above the other junior categories?
DZ: "I think so - I think the car is mega, it is really fun to driver and is a lot closer to a GP2 car. It is four or five seconds quicker than last year's and I think there is a clearer progression now from GP3 through to GP2 - it always had, but now the actual car itself is a lot closer. The car is really fun to driver and GP3 themselves do a great job in promoting and making it the Championship that it is and I think it is going to be a good year this year."
