It is a debate that rages in grounds up and down the country. Just who is the greatest manager in the club's history? Is it the guy with the most medals or the person who put the structure for success in place? Is it the most quotable character or the quiet man who deserves respect?

The answer might divide families depend on your own age or personality but Sky Sports is hoping to come up with some definitive answers this summer - with your help.

We'll be running through the main candidates from each of the 20 Premier League clubs and asking you to vote in our poll to decide who exactly should be regarded as the best. The series starts with four famous old clubs...

Arsenal

Arsenal have a rich history of success and so choosing their best manager is not an easy feat. We have narrowed it down to four candidates and now we want you to decide who has been the greatest. Whether you are an Arsene Wenger fan or consider George Graham's reign the most significant, everyone has a verdict. But do not forget Herbert Chapman's glorious spell in charge in the first half of the 1900s or their first Double winner, Bertie Mee. Who is the greatest?

For a club who can boast a European Cup among their list of honours, Aston Villa have clearly enjoyed a golden past. Current boss Paul Lambert is in the process of what he hopes is a rebuilding job at Villa and he will be aiming to emulate some of his illustrious predecessors. Here, Sky Sports is looking to find the greatest manager in Villa's history and we want your vote. We have narrowed it down to three candidates but will the greatest be George Ramsay, Ron Saunders or Tony Barton?

In a summer which has seen Jose Mourinho return to the Premier League, what better time to look for the greatest manager in the history of Chelsea? Sky Sports is launching a vote to discover the best boss in the history of the London club and you can have your say. But who will you chose? Is Mourinho really the Special One or do his achievements compare to Chelsea's first league winner, Ted Drake? Italian pair Roberto Di Matteo and Carlo Ancelotti can also not be forgotten after incredible cup-winning success both at home and abroad.

For a club whose managers were frequently produced from Anfield's famous bootroom, Liverpool's bosses have often been held in high regard on The Kop. Combine this with the success the five-time European Cup winners have enjoyed over the decades and the Merseyside club's tacticians are also recognised as legends around the world. But who has been the greatest? Sky Sports has narrowed it down to five candidates in Rafa Benitez, Kenny Dalglish, Joe Fagan, Bob Paisley and Bill Shankly.
